How to be a free agent captains actually want.

Getting picked up is not about being the best player in the lobby. It is about being the easiest player to trust. Here is how to make a captain choose you.

Captains are not scouting for highlights. They are scouting for a teammate who makes match night easier. Three things get you off the free-agent list fast.

Make yourself easy to evaluate

List your role, your hours, and your platform up front. A captain who has to guess what you do will move on to the player who already told them. Clarity reads as reliability.

Comms are your résumé

In a tryout, your aim is half the test and your comms are the other half. Clean callouts, no blame, useful in death. A 1.0 K/D with great comms beats a 1.5 who goes silent or toxic.

Nobody benches the player who makes the team calmer.

Show up like it matters

Be on time, warmed up, and ready to take a role you did not ask for. The free agent who flexes without complaint is the one who gets the permanent spot.
